Behind the Paw
John Paul Pet follows in the foot steps of our founders' "Behind the Bottle" philosophy by creating a "Behind the Paw" culture that brings pets, people, passion and programs together in an effort to create a better world for animals. It is this culture that sets us apart, making John Paul Pet one of the most trusted brands in the industry.
One Picture Saves a Life
8 million pets enter shelter and rescue groups each year. They are dirty, scared, and disorientated. As part of the intake process this pet has their photo taken that is the face people see when looking to adopt. Our mission is to provide shelter staff and volunteers with the resources to successfully groom and photograph shelter pets, aiding in giving them the second chance they deserve. Through these efforts, we hope to improve the overall image of rescue and adoption.
Hero Dog Awards
American Humane Association's Hero Dog Awards™ were created in 2010 to celebrate the powerful relationships between dogs and people, to serve as a catalyst to advance society's understanding of the human-animal bond. Dogs are an invaluable part of our lives every day; as companion animals, service and therapy animals, animal soldiers, police officers and first responders and emerging heroes. American Humane Association advocates for the American values of caring, compassion and hope.

Brown Dog Foundation
Brown Dog Foundation is the only 501c3 financial assistance program dedicated to helping pet owners in temporary financial crisis save their pet's life.
